Disclaimer
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This disclaimer covers everything on this website, including the free sample, the exam guide, the resource links and the paid practice exams. By using this website you accept this disclaimer. It is part of our Terms of use and sale.
1. Not official. Not affiliated with ASWB.
LCSW Practice Room is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected with the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), Pearson VUE, the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), the American Psychiatric Association, or any state or provincial licensing board.
Our practice exams are unofficial. They contain no official ASWB questions, and nothing recalled or copied from a real ASWB exam. They are original questions, created independently by a student, not a business, written by specialized AI models from study material and current guidelines, matched to the 2026 ASWB Clinical content outline, and checked by a social worker who has passed the ASWB Clinical exam.
"ASWB" and "Association of Social Work Boards" are trademarks of the Association of Social Work Boards. Other names and marks belong to their owners.
2. Educational use only
The site and its content are for educational exam practice only. They are not clinical, medical, mental health, legal, financial or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for your education, your supervisor, your employer's policies or a qualified professional.
Do not use anything on this site to make decisions about a real client or situation. For an ethical, legal or clinical question in practice, consult your supervisor, your agency's policies, the NASW Code of Ethics, your state board or a lawyer.
If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 in an emergency.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
We take care to keep the content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that any question, answer, rationale, summary or link is accurate, complete or up to date. Practice questions involve judgment and can contain mistakes. Laws, ethical standards, diagnostic criteria and exam rules change. The ASWB Examination Guidebook and ASWB's website are the authority on the exam, and your state board is the authority on licensing. If you find an error, tell us at [email protected].
4. No guarantee of exam results
We do not guarantee that our material will help you pass any exam, get a license or reach any score. Your score on our practice exams does not predict your score on the real exam. Some of our practice exams are deliberately harder than the real exam, and some use formats the real exam does not.
5. Laws vary by state
Licensing, scope of practice, mandatory reporting, duty to warn, confidentiality, minors' consent and many other rules vary between states and change over time. Always check the rules where you practice.
6. Third-party links
We link to other websites because we think they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the site, including decisions you make in practice, failing an exam, exam or license fees, or lost income or opportunity, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited as set out in section 13 of our Terms. Some states do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
8. Governing law
This disclaimer is governed by the same law, and disputes are handled the same way, as set out in section 19 of our Terms.
