Terms of use and sale
Last updated: November 1, 2026
These terms are the rules for using this website and buying access to our practice exams. By using this website you accept these terms, our Disclaimer and our Refund policy. You also confirm that you agree at checkout. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
LCSW Practice Room ("we", "us", "our") is an independent online seller of practice exams. The practice exams are original content, created independently by a student, not a business.
2. What we are not
We are not the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected with ASWB, Pearson VUE, NASW, any state licensing board or any university. Our practice exams are unofficial and contain no official ASWB questions. "ASWB" is a trademark of the Association of Social Work Boards, used here only to name the exam our material helps you practice for.
Our material is for educational practice only. It is not clinical, legal, financial or other professional advice. The Disclaimer is part of these terms.
3. Who can buy
The site is intended for people in the United States. You must be at least 18 to buy access.
4. What you are buying
You buy a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use our online practice exams, with their questions, answers and rationales ("the content"), for your own study.
- What is included. The four current practice exams (A, B, C and D), plus any new practice exams we add to the site during your access period. We are not obliged to add new practice exams.
- Access period. 6 months from the date of purchase, unless checkout says otherwise. Access does not renew, and you will not be charged again.
- One person. The license is for one person, on any of your own devices.
- Online only. We do not provide downloadable copies.
5. Price and payment
The price is shown in US dollars on the site and at checkout. Stripe takes the payment; we never see your full card details. Any sales tax that applies is shown at checkout. If we make an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you.
6. Your access code
After payment we show you an access code, email it to you and sign you in. Keep it private: anyone with your code can use your access. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has it. We may suspend or replace a code that is shared, misused or compromised.
7. Refunds
You can get a refund within 48 hours of buying, and a refund for technical problems we cannot fix, as set out in our Refund policy.
8. How you may use the content
You may use the content for your own private, non-commercial study. You must not:
- share, sell or give your access code to anyone else;
- copy, scrape, record, publish or distribute the content, including on social media, forums, study-group sites, flashcard apps or file-sharing services;
- use the content to build, train or test any AI model, question bank or competing product;
- use the content to teach others for money, or within a company or school, without our written permission;
- get around access controls or security, or use bots or scrapers on the gated parts of the site; or
- use the site unlawfully, or in any attempt to obtain or share confidential ASWB exam content.
Quoting a single question to ask us about it, or for genuine discussion or review, is fine. If you break these rules, we may end your access without a refund.
9. Intellectual property
The questions, rationales, text, design and software on the site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. Apart from the license in section 4, you get no rights in them. Other names and marks belong to their owners.
10. Accuracy and changes
We take care to keep the content accurate and in line with the 2026 ASWB Clinical content outline, but we do not promise it is free of errors or complete, and laws vary between states. Please tell us about any error. We may correct, update or replace questions and features. We will not take away what you bought in a way that materially affects you during your access without offering a refund.
11. Availability
We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors. If it is unavailable for a long period during your access, contact us and we will extend your access or refund you. If we stop offering the practice exams for good, we will refund a fair share of the price for the unused part of your access.
12. No warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not responsible for exam results, licensing decisions or professional outcomes, including failing an exam, exam or license fees, delays in licensure, or lost income or opportunity.
- We are not responsible for decisions you make in practice. The content is for exam practice only.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
- Our total liability for all claims connected with the site or content is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or US$10 if you have not bought anything).
Some states do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
14. Indemnity
If you breach section 8 (for example by publishing our questions or sharing your code) or break the law in connection with the site, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, including reasonable attorney's fees, that result.
15. Ending access
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, do not pay, or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we end your access when you have not broken these terms, we will refund a fair share of the price. You may stop using the site at any time.
16. Links to other websites
We link to sites we do not control, such as ASWB, NASW and government sites. We are not responsible for them, and a link is not an endorsement.
17. Privacy
We handle your information as described in our Privacy notice.
18. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version in force when you bought applies to that purchase, unless a change is required by law or is in your favor. The date at the top shows when these terms last changed.
19. Disputes and governing law
Talk to us first. If you have a problem, email [email protected] and describe it. Most problems can be fixed quickly. You and we each agree to try to resolve a dispute informally for 30 days before starting a claim.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the US state where you live and by applicable US federal law.
Where claims are brought. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court in the county where you live, or in any other court that has jurisdiction. Any claim must be brought by you or us individually, to the extent the law allows.
20. General
These terms, with the Disclaimer, Refund policy and Privacy notice, are the whole agreement between you and us. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer these terms to someone who takes over the site, and will tell you if we do; you may not transfer them.
